How to ShutDown your Computer Faster

As with earlier versions of Windows, it takes a long time to restart or shut down Windows
XP when the "Exit Windows" sound is enabled. To resolve this problem you must disable
sounds useful.

• Click the Start button.

Pannello di controllo> Suoni, voce e periferiche audio> Suoni e periferiche audio">· Go to Settings> Control Panel> Sounds and Audio Devices> Sounds and Audio Devices
Suoni.">Devices> Sounds.

Then under the window of the program of events menu and click on "Exit Windows" sub-menu and
highlight. Now from sounds you can choose, select "none" and then click Apply and
OK.

Now you can see some improvements when shutting down the system.
Speed up the Pentium 2 by 50%

We all know that really should not groped to run Windows XP on anything less than
on a Pentium 3 of some sort, if you go out for fast response and extraordinary
times, but for us with good old Pentium 2's who want to see how we
XP can run, we need to change as much as possible wherever we can. Against a real murderess
performance of the system is Windows Media Player. Although it may seem desirable and fantasy
with rounded edges and 3-Dimensional appearance, the truth, it takes a
large amount of valuable processing power. All problems, however, caused
one thing in particular with the music and video player overrated this 'new look' ... that
View.

The look great I admit, but like a lot of software today, was
without purpose. If you run the task manager and click the Performance tab at the top,
You will see that when Windows Media Player is running and no longer active, it takes
About 50% of processing power. After this display is off, then
takes almost 2-3% of processor power, which leaves more room for others
applications to run efficiently.

Here's how to disable these features:

· Receive Media Player.
• Make sure the Now Playing tab on the left is selected.
• Click the View menu at the top.
· Go to Tools of execution.
• In the submenu that has just 'come out', uncheck the Show display.
